Delete Your FitPro Account

Updated September 1, 2026 · Permanent and irreversible. Read what gets removed before you start.

You have the right to permanently delete your FitPro account and all associated data at any time. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone. This page explains exactly what happens and how to do it.

Cancel an Apple subscription before you delete. If you subscribed inside the iOS app, Apple bills you, not us, and deleting your FitPro account does not cancel that subscription. Apple gives us no way to cancel it for you. Deleting also erases the Apple transaction ID we hold, so afterwards we cannot even see your charges. Apple will keep billing you every month until you cancel it yourself in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Do that first, confirm it is cancelled, then come back and delete your account.

What Gets Deleted

Every record tied to your account is erased the moment you confirm. There is no grace period and no way to get it back:

What We Keep, and Why

A small set of records is retained for legal and accounting reasons:

How To Delete Your Account

Option 1 - In the app (fastest):

  1. Open FitPro and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings (the gear icon).
  3. Scroll to Your Data, then tap Delete my account.
  4. Confirm by typing DELETE.
  5. Your account and your data are erased immediately and you are signed out. There is no grace period, no 30-day window, and no way to cancel or reverse it. Signing back in will not bring anything back.

Option 2 - By email (if you cannot sign in):

  1. Send an email to support@getfitpro.app.
  2. Use the exact subject line: Delete My Account
  3. Include the email address on your FitPro account.
  4. A person reads that mailbox and handles each request by hand — there is no automated queue behind it. We will verify your identity, delete your data, and email you to confirm once it is done.

This cannot be undone. Deletion runs immediately, and once it does there is no way to recover your workouts, meals, photos, or coach chats. If you want a copy of your data first, request an export from Settings > Your Data > "Download my data", or email us. The export covers your profile and the data you logged; if something you need is not in it, email us before you delete and we will get it for you.

If You Have An Active Subscription

If Apple bills you (you subscribed inside the iOS app): deleting your account does not cancel your subscription, and we have no way to cancel it for you. Cancel it yourself in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions before you delete. If you delete first, Apple keeps charging you every month and we can no longer see the charges to help you sort it out. Refunds on Apple purchases are handled entirely by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com — we cannot issue them on Apple's behalf.

If Stripe bills you (you subscribed on our website): deleting your account cancels your subscription right away. We do not pro-rate the current billing period, but if you would like a refund because of a specific issue, write us at support@getfitpro.app within 7 days of your first charge and a person will issue it by hand from our Stripe dashboard — see the Refund Policy in the app for the full terms (the 7-day guarantee applies to your first charge, not to renewals).
